Especially in African cities, the more industrialisation and technology gets setup, the more difficult it gets to connect the rural areas to the urban cities. Whereas, the rural areas still preserve a very high quality of raw materials like fruits, materials for cosmetics, meat, vegetables, cereals etc. These materials could be very useful for hotels, restaurants and small producers of grocery. You can quickly build a customer base of business to business clients by creating a service that offer consistent quality of fresh quality raw ingredients. Apart from my advice to always start with a business plan of your idea, you can launch this business with less than 250 american dollars which is about;

  • 100T Nigerian naira
  • 1300 Ghana cedis
  • 1 million uganda shillings
  • 43T Liberian dollars
  • 4T south African Rands
  • 28T Kenyan shillings

To start this business you will need to go through the following steps;

  1. Build a network of suppliers.
  2. Market research on demand & find your niche.
  3. Plan your storage..
  4. Develop a logistic plan.
  5. Plan your cash flow.
  6. Create a business plan.
  7. Create your brand.
  8. Give your business a visual touch.
  9. Create a distribution plan.
  10. Promote to take orders.
