How To Find Joy In Life. Make 2025 Your Year.

That holiday season feel usually really kicks off when the Christmas tree has been beautifully decorated. This gives us a nostalgic feeling of the ending year and anticipation for the new year. After a couple of days, gifts, reflection and cookies (for some bing-watching), the tree must go, and life is waiting to suck us all back in. Before we get all back into the routine and habits, how do we find joy in life for 2025 and make it truly our year of years?

Find Joy In Life Through Gratitude

As you begin 2025, it’s a perfect time to express gratitude just for being here and for seeing this year. There is not much you can do right to find joy in life except to recognize that you are alive. It is a miracle and let be grateful.

Walk In Your Truth

My daughter had one wish for 2024 Christmas: a Japanese-style coat. Unable to find one in stores, we decided to make it together. What started as a simple project turned into a beautiful bonding experience.

As we worked, she surprised me by asking, “Mom, what do you want this Christmas?” That question hit me. I realized the greatest gift isn’t something material—it’s the gift of self-belief, boldness, and courage to pursue your dreams. Taking this experience, I personally want to walk a bold journey this year—a journey of my truth. It will take courage, but that is the key to finding joy in life—to walk in your truth!

Make The Best Of The Lessons From 2024

We spent some time re-listening our conversations and selected a few lessons to help you transform 2025 and find joy in life.  Ankwetta, a Transformative Entrepreneur, reminded us of the importance of self-empowerment and that transformation begins with choice. Whether in your personal life or professional journey, the ability to define your direction is key to unlocking growth.

Life coach Ceri Samvilian emphasized the power of stepping into discomfort to achieve growth: “Your comfort zone is where nothing interesting happens—no growth, no improvements. Get out by doing things that scare you.”

Chief Olukunmi’s Reflection urged us to prioritize character development over material gains. He says good character shapes how we interact with the world and lays the groundwork for meaningful relationships.

More conversation guests shared vital lessons we can embrace for 2025, and you can watch here.

Get the glow without bleaching cream.

The issue here is the message that is now prevalent in society about lighter skin being a better option and appearance. There are countless studies that have shown this perception to be in strong existence. Therefore the lifestyle of bleaching strengthens the perception in itself. And please save that argument that white people tan. Yes, many do, but must that be our measurement standards?
